The Permanent secretariat of the National Council on Child Righst Protection is ensured by the Permanent Secretariats Department of the State Chancellery.
The secretariat was created by Government Decision no. 1050 of 05.08.2002 in accordance with the recommendations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (11 January 2002), based on the Council's tasks, obligations and powers and in accordance with the National Concept for the Protection of the Rights of the Child and the Family (PP no. 51 of 23 January 2002) . The permanent secretariat of the Council is the executive structure that fulfills the current functions of coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of the state policy in the field of protecting the rights of the child.
The Permanent Secretariat resumed operations on August 1, 2010, and its mission is to support the National Council for the Protection of Children in the development, implementation and implementation of child and family protection policies at national and local level.
The permanent secretariat works with central and local authorities, institutions, international organizations, civil society organizations, individuals and legal entities whose field of activity is the protection of the rights of the child and the family.
