The first day of summer, every year, we celebrate the International Children's Day. June 1 is not only a celebration of children, but also of those who are around, helping them to increase the value of the nation and citizens of the country. It is a special occasion to relive the emotions of childhood, to flip through inexhaustible pages of memory about the best time in щгк life.
June 1 is the day when we have to realize, once again, that the true wealth of a country are its children. Caring for a happy childhood, child welfare must be the priority task of the nation, and, first one to the Government. We need well-trained, protected, healthy children and their happy faces. Tear of hunger or tortured child must be a very tough penalty for the state. That is why we all have a sacred duty: to make our children happy!
June 1 is not only a feast for the children, but also a warning to society about the need to protect child rights. Children in Moldova are protected by the legislation on their rights both internationally and nationally. By ratifying the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Moldova committed to protect children from any kind of discrimination, to ensure a good social security and optimal conditions for harmonious development. Child rights are protected by the Family Code, the Law on the Rights of the Child and a number of other legislative and normative acts.
On this day, we should not forget about children deprived of parental warmth, the mother’s sweet voice and a good night story. They a need special support because they are our children. Each of us, adults, we are obliged to get involved so that they would nether remain isolated in this world.
Dear parents, childhood is the best time of life, and children - the greatest gift we receive. Every day we have to refuel this axiom of life, ensuring our children a bright future.
Congratulations, dear children and parents! Let us enjoy the most of our children!
